Connie'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. chiffon butter
1/3 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
Preparation

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, beating well after each one.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Add flour mixture with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Add vanilla and lemon.
Bake in floured and greased large tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
(Start in cold oven.)
