Springtime Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. onions, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    2 c. non-dairy creamer
    5 c. chicken broth
    2 potatoes, cubed
    2 medium carrots, sliced
    10 oz. pkg. frozen asparagus or chopped spinach
    1/2 c. rice
Preparation
    Melt butter in a saucepan.
    Add all ingredients, except asparagus/spinach.
    Cook for 15 minutes.
    Add asparagus/spinach; stir well.
    Take off heat.
    Serve.
