Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar (optional)
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. cream-style corn
    oil
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in eggs and corn, mixing well.
    Fry in oil.
    Drop batter by teaspoonfuls. Fry until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Good served with maple syrup.
    Makes about 2 dozen.
