Ingredients

4 qt. tomatoes
1 large onion (or several small ones)
3 large green peppers
1 small hot pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Wash, scald, skin, core and chop tomatoes.
Clean peppers (remove seeds) and onion.
Chop fine.
Add rest of ingredients and cook until sauce is as thick as you want it.
Pour into hot jars. Process pints 30 minutes and quarts 45 minutes.
