Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, separated
1 c. hot milk
lemon juice
2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice

Preparation

Blend butter and sugar. Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and egg yolks.
Add salt, spices, sweet potatoes and hot milk.
Put into pie crust.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Turn temperature to 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
