Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sour cream
    1 baked pie shell
    3 egg whites
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks slightly.
    Add 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, butter, lemon juice and lemon rind; mix well.
    Blend in milk, cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens; cool.
    Fold in sour cream, pour into pie shell.
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add the 6 tablespoons of sugar, beating until meringue is stiff and glossy and all sugar is dissolved.
    Spread over filling.
    Bake for 10 minutes or until meringue is lightly browned.
    Yields 8 servings.
