Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. crushed pretzel sticks
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
6 oz. strawberry jello
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 pt. sweetened strawberries
Preparation

Melt butter; mix with sugar and pretzels.
Bake in a 12 x 8-inch baking dish for 12 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Let cool. Combine and beat cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip. Spread on top of pretzel base.
Prepare jello with boiling water. Add crushed pineapple and strawberries to jello mixture.
Spread on top of Cool Whip mixture.
Refrigerate until jelled.
