Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. shucked standard oyster with liquor
2 to 3 c. fresh cracker crumbs, coarsely crushed
1/2 c. margarine or butter (1 stick)
1 to 2 c. milk
salt and pepper (as desired)
Preparation

In a greased 2-quart casserole, place alternate layers of oysters and crackers, dotting each layer with margarine or butter and sprinkling with small amount of pepper.
End with layer of crumbs.
Add milk until liquid almost reaches top of casserole. Dot with remaining margarine or butter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until browned, 45 to 60 minutes. Use all oyster liquid.
Makes 6 generous servings.
