Mrs. Johnson'S Swedish Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick melted butter
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 eggs, beaten
    chopped walnuts
    sugar
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Add melted butter; mix well (batter will be thick).
    Add eggs and almond extract; mix until smooth.
    Pour into greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, until nice and brown.
