Pound Cake With Lemon Curd - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    5 whole eggs
    2 c. flour (measure after sifting)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter until light and fluffy.
    Add sugar gradually, beating well.
    Cream until light and fluffy.
    Drop in 1 whole egg at a time while beating.
    Stop the beaters and fold in flour and vanilla.
    Bake in greased and floured pan at 300\u00b0
    for 45 minutes. Turn up to 325\u00b0
    for 10 to 15 minutes to brown.
    Don't overcook. Serve with lemon curd.
