Baked Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter/margarine
    2/3 c. flour
    7 c. milk (may cut back to 5)
    4 c. potatoes, peeled and cubed (baked or boiled)
    4 green onions, sliced or chopped
    12 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Stir in flour until smooth.
    Gradually add milk. Stir constantly.
    Add potatoes and onions.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients until cheese is melted.
