Fresh Berry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. fresh berries
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. cold water or fruit juice
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Prepare and wash berries.
    Drain well and add sugar.
    Set aside.
    Blend together flour and water or juice.
    Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Add berry mixture and cook over low heat just until tender.
    Pour hot mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Dot with butter.
    Add spices, if desired.
    Prepare Sweet Drop Biscuit Dough.
    Drop from a spoon into berry mixture.
    Do not stir.
    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Serve hot with cream if desired.
    Makes 5 to 6 servings.
