Salad Dressing Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 large cucumbers
12 medium onions
1 small jar pimentos or 1 sweet red pepper
3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 c. flour
1 qt. vinegar
1/2 c. salt
3 qt. cold water
Preparation
-
Peel and slice or chunk cukes and onions.
Let stand overnight in brine of salt and water.
Pour brine off in the morning.
Make sauce of remaining ingredients.
Add cukes and onions.
Cook 10 to 15 minutes after they come to a boil.
Pack in jars and seal while hot.
