Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 strips bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled (reserve grease)
    2 c. onion, chopped
    4 c. potatoes, finely diced
    1 1/3 c. carrots, finely diced
    2 (16 oz. size) flounder fillets
    4 c. water
    2 envelopes Hidden Valley original flavor salad dressing mix
    4 c. milk
Preparation
    Fry bacon in large (stock) pot until crisp; drain and crumble. In the reserved bacon grease, saute the chopped onion, potatoes and carrots until tender, about 6 minutes.
    Move the veggies over to one side.
    Add the flounder and water; bring to a boil, then reduce heat.
    Cover; simmer for 15 minutes, or until fish flakes with a fork.
    Turn over and break up fish.
