Ribs With Turnip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    450 g (1 lb.) pork ribs
    300 g (2/3 lb.) turnips (daikon)
    6 sections green onion
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut the ribs into 3 cm. (1 1/3 inch) long strips.
    Blanch in boiling water and then drain.
    Pare the turnips, then cut them into bite-size pieces.
    Heat the wok, then add 1 tablespoon oil; stir-fry the green onion until fragrant.
    Fry the ribs, then add water, soy sauce, sugar and salt and stir to mix.
    Cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
    Add the turnips and cook for another 10 minutes, then serve.
