Microwave Chicken A La King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. milk
    2 c. cut up cooked chicken
    1/2 c. frozen green peas
    1 (2 oz.) jar sliced pimiento, drained
    2 Tbsp. sherry (optional)
    toast, hot cooked noodles or rice
Preparation
    In a 2-quart casserole, combine butter and green pepper. Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes or until green pepper is tender.
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in broth and milk.
    Microwave on Medium-high (170\u00b0) for 6 to 7 minutes or until sauce thickens, stirring 2 or 3 times.
    Stir in chicken, peas, pimiento and sherry.
    Microwave on Medium-high for 6 to 7 minutes or until heated through, stirring 2 times.
    Serve over toast, hot cooked noodles or rice.
