Venison Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 venison roast
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 to 4 carrots, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 to 4 potatoes, chopped
    4 tsp. bacon fat
    celery, chopped
    flour
    1 to 2 onions, chopped
Preparation
    Flour roast and brown on both sides in bacon fat.
    Place in baking pan and cover with water.
    Cover with foil and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until roast is tender.
    Remove from oven, add vegetables and seasonings and return to oven.
    Cover and cook until vegetables are done.
    Gravy can be made by browning flour and using the broth, if desired.
