Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can cream-style corn
    1 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    4 to 5 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine
    2 eggs
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Mix first 9 ingredients in the order listed.
    Preheat 2 tablespoons oil in heavy iron skillet in 400\u00b0 oven until very hot. Pour batter into skillet.
    Turn oven to 375\u00b0 and cook until golden brown.
