Oreo Cookie Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bag chocolate cookies
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    2 2/3 c. milk
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 large instant chocolate pudding
Preparation
    Crush cookies.
    Save 2/3 cup for top.
    Melt butter.
    Add crushed cookies.
    Put in 9 x 13-inch pan and refrigerate.
    Mix cream cheese and sugar until creamy.
    Fold in 1/2 Cool Whip. Spread on cookie mixture and refrigerate it again.
    Mix pudding with milk.
    Spread over cream cheese mixture.
    Add rest of Cool Whip over pudding.
    Then add remaining 2/3 cup cookie crumbs.
