Butter Semmeln (Rolls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk, scalded
    6 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 yeast cake, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    This batter must be made in the early evening and set to rise in a warm place until morning.
