Raisin Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
4 c. cake flour
1 tsp. salt
1 heaping tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 boxes dark raisins
1 can flaked coconut
2 c. grated tart apples
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, two at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flavoring. Add sifted dry ingredients (reserving 1/2 cup flour to dredge raisins).
Add coconut, apples and raisins. Bake in greased paper lined tube cake pan 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
