Chess Cake Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 lb. box brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
4 whole eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In a saucepan heat butter and both sugars.
Add remaining ingredients and mix.
Pour into a greased (Pam) and floured 9x13x2 pyrex baking dish.\tBake in 325\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until done.
Cool for 10 minutes.
Dust top with powdered sugar and cut into squares.
Serve warm plain or with vanilla ice-cream.\tAlso good the next day or so.
Serves 24.
(Bake a little longer if too soft in the center.)
