1 egg, beaten
300 ml (1/2 pt.) fresh milk
40 g (1 1/2 oz.) butter
2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) five spice powder
225 g (8 oz.) chicken breast filet, cut into strips
375 g (13 oz.) stir-fry vegetables
10 ml (2 tsp.) soy sauce
100 g (4 oz.) Double Gloucester cheese, cubed

Place flour in a bowl; break in the egg.
Gradually add the milk, beating to form a smooth batter.
