Oatmeal Marguerites - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. soda
1 c. rolled oats
1 c. nut meats
Preparation

Beat butter until creamy.
Add sugar and beat well.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Sift flour, salt, baking powder and soda.
Blend in rolled oats and nut meats.
Grease tins or put miniature papers in miniature cupcake tins, if possible.
Drop in by teaspoons. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Frost with vanilla frosting.
