Baked Herbed Fish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. thickly cut fish steaks (haddock, seabass)
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme
    1/4 tsp. dried basil
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. plus finely chopped onions
    1 clove garlic, minced
Preparation
    Place fish in shallow pan that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
