Strawberry Topping For Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) box strawberries, slightly thawed
    1 egg white
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 large angel food cake
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Mix all together and beat on high speed for 20 minutes. Wonderful
    on angel food or sponge cake.
    Split cake into 3 layers.
    Fill with ice cream.
    I freeze cake first.
    Refreeze until topping is ready.
    Ice cake with topping and freeze.
    Keep frozen.
