Petite Cranberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 stick butter or oleo
    1 egg
    12 oz. cottage cheese
    2 c. fresh cranberries
    1 c. raisins (optional)
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream butter until fluffy.
    Add sugar, egg and cottage cheese. Fold in cranberries and raisins by hand.
    Mix in flour and remaining ingredients.
    Stir together well, then fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
    Bake until puffed and lightly browned.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Makes 24 petite little muffins.
