Sauerkraut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. finely cut sauerkraut
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cream sugar, shortening and vanilla; add eggs, one at a time.
    Add water alternately with dry ingredients to egg and sugar mixture.
    Stir in sauerkraut.
    Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan for 35 to 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
