Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. quick cooking oats, uncooked
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    2/3 c. shortening, melted
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients in large bowl and mix well.
    Stir together eggs, buttermilk and shortening.
    Add dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened.
    Spoon into greased muffin pans.
    Bake at 400\u00b0
    for 18 to 20 minutes.
    Makes 1 1/2 to 2 dozen.
