Sweet Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
4 eggs
1 c. cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
2/3 c. milk
2 c. flour (all-purpose)
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Cream butter and
sugar;
add
eggs, beating after each addition.
Mix all dry ingredients and add to creamed ingredients alternately with
milk.
Add
potatoes, vanilla and nuts. Mix well and bake in
greased
and
floured
cake pans at 350\u00b0 until done. Good with Buttermilk Icing or Cream Cheese Icing.
