Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. oleo
3/4 c. light corn syrup
2 c. raw peanuts
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup and water in a heavy pan.
Stir until sugar dissolves.
When mixture reaches boiling stage, stir in peanuts.
Cook on medium-low heat.
Stir frequently.
Cook until mixture reaches the hard crackling stage, 280\u00b0 to 300\u00b0.
Add oleo and stir mixture.
