Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. egg whites
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour and 3/4 cup sugar three times.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add salt and cream of tartar.
    Beat until stiff. Add remaining sugar, one tablespoon at a time.
    Fold in thoroughly; add vanilla with addition of sugar.
    Sift flour over top, a little at a time and fold in lightly with a down, up and over motion.
    Pour in ungreased tube pan.
    Bake in oven at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Invert pan to cool.
