Sliced Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 1/4 lb. yellow squash, thinly sliced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Pour melted butter into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Add squash; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Combine egg, mayonnaise, onion and sugar; mix well and pour over squash.
    Sprinkle evenly with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
