Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 tsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
2 egg whites
1 (8 oz.) can pineapple
Preparation

Cook 1st 5 ingredients until very thick.
Stir mixture into stiffly beaten egg whites.
Place in pie pan and set in refrigerator until thoroughly cold.
Add pineapple (drained) and serve with whipped cream.
