Ginger Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    3/4 c.crisco
    1 egg
    4 tbsp light molasses
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp soda
    1 tsp ginger
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp clove
    1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
    Cream crisco, egg, brown sugar and molasses. Stir in dry ingredients; chill dough and roll into walnut size balls.
    Dip balls in sugar and put on cookie sheet separated.
    Sprinkle water on top; Bake 350\u00b0 9-12 min.
    Still soft when done. don't overbake.
