Angel Biscuits #2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. Crisco shortening
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Soften yeast in lukewarm water; set aside. Measure and
    sift dry ingredients together.
    Cut shortening into mixture.
    Add milk and yeast; stir until well blended.
    Roll dough 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut into biscuits, using 2-inch biscuit cutter.
    Place rolls in greased pan and let rise in warm place for 1 hour.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until brown.
    Brush top with butter or margarine.
