Strawberry Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 envelope Knox gelatine
1/2 c. water
2 small boxes strawberry Jell-O
2 envelopes Dream Whip or Cool Whip
8 oz. cream cheese
pecans

Preparation

Bring to a boil pineapple, sugar, water and gelatine.
Pour into a 9 x 12-inch pan.
Put in refrigerator to gel overnight.
