Pumpkin Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cooked pumpkin
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. allspice
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
Preparation

Combine pumpkin, sugar, salt, spices and eggs.
Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
Pour into well-greased custard cups. Set in pan of warm water.
Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven until an inserted knife comes out clean.
Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
