Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. squash
    5 large bell peppers
    5 large onions
    1 medium jar pimentos
    5 c. sugar
    3 c. cider vinegar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Lay pecan halves on foil lined pan.
    Cover with 3 tablespoons of butter.
    Sprinkle salt to taste.
    Put in 300\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Turn off heat; leave in oven 1 1/2 to 2 hours (doors closed).
