Miniature Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. chopped dates
1 lb. broken nuts (walnuts)
1/2 lb. or medium jar red cherries
1/2 lb. or medium jar green cherries
2 sticks margarine
4 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1 pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add to fruit and stir. Pour melted margarine over mixture and stir. Add nuts, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla; pour over mixture and stir. Beat egg whites and fold into mixture. Bake in miniature tins (set on cookie sheet). Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
