Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Vidalia onions, sliced and separated
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. heavy sour cream
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
    1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    In medium saucepan combine onions with water to cover.
    Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute.
    Drain well.
    Transfer to 8-inch square baking dish.
    In bowl, combine egg, cream, salt and pepper.
    Pour over onions.
    Sprinkle with cheese, then paprika.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Serves 6, 216 calories, 101 mg cholesterol, 19 g fat and 382 mg sodium.
