Raisin Crisscross Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. soft butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. coarsely ground raisins (if desired)
Preparation

Cream the butter, sugar and egg together.
Mix milk and lemon extract, then mix remaining ingredients together, except raisins. Add the raisins, if desired.
Roll in balls (1 teaspoon).
Place on greased cookie sheet.
With a fork (dipped in flour), crisscross the ball, pressing it flat.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
