Sparkling Strawberry Punch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

14 c. hulled strawberries
4 1/2 qt. pineapple juice
2 1/2 c. lime juice
3 lb. sugar
20 large bottles pale dry ginger ale
berries and lime slices (for garnish)
Preparation

Place berries in bowl.
Add lime juice and sugar.
Crush berries slightly.
Let stand about 1 hour.
Add pineapple juice. Put 1 quart of this mixture into punch bowl over block of ice. Add 3 bottles of ginger ale.
Serve.
As supply is depleted, add 1 quart of the fruit juice mixture and another 3 bottles of ginger ale.
Makes 200 (1/2-cup) servings.
Can make smaller amounts.
