Taco Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (1.25 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
    2 c. shredded lettuce
    1 large tomato, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
    sour cream or salsa
    corn or tortilla chips
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet; drain.
    Stir in beans, seasoning mix and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover. Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 minutes.
