Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 pkg. chopped dates
    1 can coconut
    1 c. buttermilk
    6 eggs
    1 lb. orange slice candy
    1/2 c. pecans
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Chop fruits, nuts and candy fine and roll in a portion of flour.
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add buttermilk, then add rest of flour and soda.
    Mix well.
    Fold in candy, nuts, coconut and dates.
    Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes at 275\u00b0.
    Leave cake in tube pan and glaze while still hot.
