Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    7 eggs
    3 c. flour (all-purpose)
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 lb. shelled pecans (1 qt.)
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 tsp. vanilla, lemon and almond flavoring
Preparation
    Chop cherries, nuts and pineapple.
    Roll in 1 cup flour.
    Save enough fruit and nuts to decorate top.
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Sift flour and baking powder 3 times, adding beaten eggs. Mix well.
    Add nuts, fruit and flavoring and bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, then 30 minutes at 300\u00b0.
