Dilly Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh green beans
    1 clove garlic
    fresh dill
    1 fresh jalapeno pepper or cayenne pepper or 1/4 tsp. dried red pepper
    2 c. cider vinegar
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. canning salt
Preparation
    Add dill, clove garlic and pepper in 2-quart jar.
    Boil vinegar, water and salt.
    Pour over beans to fill jar.
    Cover and seal.
    Let sit 4 to 6 weeks.
    The longer the better.
    Serve chilled like pickles.
