Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. water
    1 c. river rice
    1 can milk
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs, separated
    pinch of nutmeg
    6 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Wash river rice; let water come to a boil and add rice.
    Bring back to a boil; cook down until rice is dry.
    Add milk, sugar, egg yolks and nutmeg.
    Cook until thick.
    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, then add 2 teaspoons sugar at a time.
    Continue beating after each addition.
    Spread on pudding and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until it browns good.
