Mom'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1/2 c. oil (scant)
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. soda, mixed in buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla (I use 2 tsp.)

Preparation

Bring to boil oleo, oil and water.
Pour over and mix into sugar, flour and cocoa.
Add buttermilk, salt, soda and vanilla. Bake in greased and floured jelly roll pan, 13 x 15-inch at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
