Crisp Onion-Roasted Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. thyme leaves (optional)
    2 lb. all purpose potatoes, quartered
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1 tsp. marjoram leaves (optional)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
    In shallow baking or roasting pan, thoroughly blend all ingredients except potatoes.
    Add potatoes and turn to coat thoroughly.
    Bake, stirring occasionally, for 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. Garnish, if desired, with fresh parsley.
